You won't find the members of Brubaker Lodge No. 675 only working in the lodge room. We are proud to contribute to the people of the Quad Cities through our Community Partnership programs.

Buchanan Elementary School

We are in our fourth year (already!) as a Partner in Education with Buchanan Elementary School. Our first year we helped them acquire a popcorn machine to use as a fund-raising tool during Movie Nights, Open Houses, Community Nights, etc. We've also provided some extra school supplies, articles of clothing, manpower at some after-school functions, and the always favorite Donuts for Teachers! We look forward to helping out more during the upcoming school year

Bring your school supplies donations to the lobby of the Masonic Center or you can take them directly to Buchanan or Truman elementary schools.

Truman Elementary School

This is our first year as a partner with Truman Elementary, so we need to learn what their wants and needs are.  We've sent a letter to the teachers asking for their input.  We know that they would like to have a flashlight/lantern in each room in case of power losses (it happened in mid-August 2005 during a Summer thunderstorm).  Mrs. Lisa Baxter, the new principal at Truman is thrilled that we've decided to partner up with the students and staff at Truman.  It's only appropriate that Harry S. Truman was one of our country's most distinguished Masons!

Iowa Masonic Health Facility of Bettendorf

This Community Partnership is in it's infancy, and we'll be exploring ways that we can help the residents of nursing home and the staff in the very near future.

Job's Daughters Bethel #5, I.O.J.D., Davenport and Scott County Chapter of DeMolay International

These Masonic youth groups, Job's for young ladies ages 11 thru 20 and DeMolay for young men ages 12 to 21, needs the support of all Masonic organizations, and Brubaker Lodge is no different. We're happy to help them in any way we can, from attending their meetings to providing adult guardians for their councils. The "Jobies" have helped prepare and serve some of our pre-meeting meals at the Masonic Center.
